Phew, lovely few days in the garden.

Wow, hasn't the weather been just beautiful? We have been spending a huge amount of time in the garden, and having lovely "family time" as the children call it.

The car has given up, or rather, we have given up on the car. We have been without one for a while now (well, it is still stuck on our drive), and I'm kind of getting used to it. I do have times of feeling incredibly isolated though, and hate not being able to venture far. We are going to break up the car and sell the parts, and then start saving for our next one. We may get a little runaround in the meantime so we can go out for essentials.

We've had a few friends over which has been lovely, I'm starting to miss the social network we once had. Must make more of an effort to get to know the locals! Chelsea has settled in really well at Scouts and is making friends there which is great. Joseph is doing likewise at Cub-scouts, so at least I don't have to worry about their socialisation.

I thought I'd share a few photos of our day in the garden today, for no other reason than I want to, and it has been a long time!

Poser, whoops sorry, I mean Tiegan...

Poser number 2; Kira:

And just because he is nearly 10 years old and I wanted to show him off, our elderly bunny Jake enjoying his day out in the run (much to Kira's excitement!)

Other than laze about in the garden, we searched for and took back library books, had chinese takeaway for dinner, and took Kira for country walks. Lovely :-)
